The three directors, Neil McPhail, Raewyn Gibson and Peter Zwart - established their business in 1995 with a view to providing employers with advice which is cost effective, practical and relevant to the workplace.
After extensive careers working in employment and industrial relations law, the team perceived a niche in the market for specialised employment law advocates for employers who were focussed on dealing with workplace issues on a pragmatic basis, where possible, however recognising that there are situations where litigation may be inevitable.
McPhail Gibson & Zwart Ltd is dedicated to providing a quality and cost-effective employment law and employment agreement advocacy service for employers. While we are primarily engaged in offering services throughout the South Island, we have major clients who utilise our services throughout New Zealand.
The three directors of the company are all experienced advocates with proven experience representing employers in a wide range of areas.
